The Business Development Manager introduces, promotes and continuously explores new opportunities for Lenzing specialty fibers in countries around the region. He or she will work closely with the Sales, Marketing/Branding and Technical Customer Service teams in developing these markets under the direction of the Regional Commercial Director.
Lead business development projects for LENZING (TM) fibers in several countries around the Southeast Asian (SEA) region
Improve the organization’s understanding of downstream customers eg Brands and Consumers
Develop joint promotion programs with selected local and international fashion brands to use LENZING (TM) fibers.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing/Branding and Technical Customer Service teams to develop business opportunities with both direct and indirect customers to promote and position LENZING (TM) fibers in the market.
Cooperate with Marketing/Branding team to improve awareness of LENZING (TM) fibers in the market and ensure consistent implementation of brand strategy
Support global segment teams within the region:
Textile: home textiles, active wear, denim and innerwear
Non-wovens: wipes and hygiene
Attend industry functions and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends to regional team and global segment team
Minimum five years of experience in textile industry within a mixed setting of B2B and B2C in textile and apparel. Experienced in dealing with brands and retailers.
A solid understanding of SEA sub-region markets, fashion trends and retail industry.
Knowledge in nonwoven (hygiene and cosmetic) industries are plus points
Have managed a multi country sub-region as a convincing communicator who can engage well with colleagues, customers and agencies.
A hands-on mentality with result orientation and a pragmatic, but analytical approach.
In addition to local language, you speak fluent English and are willing to travel from a base in Singapore in a regional cross-cultural setting.
